Amazing experience - 5 day Salkantay Trek - Carlos (the mountain king)

This 5 day trek has definitely been the highlight of our trip to Peru this year. We have been looked after from start to finish by Carlos (The mountain King) ensuring we have been comfortable every step of the way.
The accommodation has been a gods send with occasional hot showers and most of all a bed to sleep and recover for the next day of trekking.
We have been fed the best Peruvian food each day by the lovely Alejandro who would make sure meals where prepped before we arrived to the campsite along with all our luggage / belongings brought by Fernando and his horses.
The team have been amazing and have made this a trip to remember!

The 5-day trek exceeded all my expectations. First & foremost, I have to thank our guide KJ for such an unforgettable experience. He had the most thorough briefings, high level knowledge base, excellent expectation management skills, and ability to adapt to varying circumstances. He is clearly passionate about Peru’s history and taught us so much about every location we encountered. The food will blow your mind - literally multi course meals when you’re expecting camp dining. The accommodations are the definition of glamping - beautiful views and all the needed comforts. Machu Picchu will leave you breathless. I would highly recommend this company and if you’re lucky enough to have KJ as your guide, prepare for a magical and rewarding trip! Thank you so much!! Bring extra socks!
