Christmas Chocolate

As part of its social responsibility activities, Salkantay Trekking organized a Christmas chocolate event for 1500 children and teenagers from the rural communities of the Ocongate District in the Quispicanchi province of the Cusco region.

The event saw the active participation of Salkantay Trekking employees, as well as the community leaders of Rodeana, Upis, and Tinke. Additionally, various community members and volunteers from the local population joined this initiative. Child-friendly activities and games were organized for the participating children and adolescents, complemented by lively dance and song performances.

Throughout the morning, all attendees enjoyed sweet pastries and hot chocolate prepared by Salkantay Trekking employees. At the conclusion of the event, the children and adolescents received a variety of toys, bringing joy and smiles to their faces.
