This will be achieved through differentiated ticket sales and with the objective of never passing the maximum number of visitors allowed at once. This measure was adopted to ensure protection of the Inca site in light of the huge quantity of visitors it receives every day.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Ministry of Culture<\/strong> made some changes to the \u201cRegulations of sustainable use and touristic visits for the conservation of the Inca city of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salkantaytrekking.com\/traditional\/machu-picchu\/machu-picchu-one-day-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Machu Picchu<\/strong><\/a>\u201d where the new hours mentioned for visiting <strong>Machu Picchu<\/strong> are the following: <strong>7:00 AM<\/strong>, <strong>8:00 AM<\/strong>, <strong>9:00 AM<\/strong>, <strong>10:00 AM<\/strong>, <strong>11:00 AM<\/strong>, <strong>12:00 PM<\/strong>, <strong>13:00 PM<\/strong> y <strong>14:00 PM<\/strong>. Nobody can enter before the time slot printed on their ticket.<\/p>\n<p>So that there is no confusion, entrance tickets for <strong>Machu Picchu<\/strong> will show clearly the\u00a0 time at which each visitor can enter the Inca city.<\/p>\n<h2>The buses, too<\/h2>\n<p><a class=\"fancy-gallery\" href=\"https:\/\/www.salkantaytrekking.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/machu-picchu-bus-5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-726 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.salkantaytrekking.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/machu-picchu-bus-5.jpg\" alt=\"People making a line at Machu Picchu\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/a>These changes will also need to be considered for boarding the bus from <strong>Aguas Calientes<\/strong> to the archeological site of <strong>Machu Picchu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The company in charge of this service, Consettur, will also control the schedules of entrance tickets. Tourists will get on the bus according to the hour printed on their ticket to avoid lines in <strong>Aguas Calientes<\/strong>, as well as in the entrance to the<strong> Inca city<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The rail companies which have routes to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salkantaytrekking.com\/traditional\/machu-picchu\/machu-picchu-one-day-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Machu Picchu<\/strong><\/a> (<strong>PeruRail<\/strong> and <strong>IncaRail<\/strong>) are also committed to spread this information to facilitate tourists\u2019 access to this impressive archeological site.<\/p>\n<p>According to official communications, they hope to offer tourists unforgettable experiences in their visit to <strong>Machu Picchu<\/strong>, but above all, they seek to protect the cultural heritage of Peru for generations yet to come. \u201cThis will depend, to a large extent, on respect for the rules of use of the Inca city which seek, above all, to ensure conservation for future generations,\u201d says the message.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"fancy-gallery\" href=\"https:\/\/www.salkantaytrekking.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Horarios.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-724 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.salkantaytrekking.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Horarios-212x300.jpg\" alt=\"entry schedules to Machu Picchu\" width=\"212\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Now, to enjoy this archeological wonder, you\u2019ll be assigned a time slot which must be strictly followed Beginning January 1, 2019, all tourists who visit Machu Picchu will have to follow an assigned visiting schedule.
