Pallay Punchu is located south of Cusco, approximately 4 hours by car from the imperial city. For that reason, the trip starts very early in the morning, around 4 a.m. After a stop halfway for breakfast and continuing through the Andean landscapes, you\u2019ll arrive at the starting point of the hike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Trail<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Once you start walking, you\u2019ll need to climb up the side of the mountain, due to its steep and pointed shape. The trail is marked and signposted with white arrows on the rocks so you know where to go. The ascent takes 45 minutes or 1 hour if you go at a slower pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
