On <em>Avenida el Sol <\/em>you\u2019ll find the biggest market where you can find just about anything you\u2019re looking for from pillow cases to table mats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have more time it\u2019s an excellent idea to head out of town. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salkantaytrekking.com\/blog\/pisac-a-must-visit-on-your-trip-to-perus-sacred-valley\/\">Pisac<\/a><\/strong> market offers a huge range of bits that you can spend hours looking around. Or, as part of a tour, you could visit <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salkantaytrekking.com\/blog\/chinchero-ancient-textile-traditions\/\">Chinchero<\/a> <\/strong>where you\u2019ll get to see the weaving in action and learn about how they dye the fabrics with local ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Textiles are a huge part of the <strong>Peruvian culture<\/strong> and you\u2019ll see many around the city wearing<strong> traditional dress<\/strong>. From\nsweaters to woolly hats and gloves you\u2019ll find all kinds of attire made from\nthe soft wool that is alpaca. There are some cool designs that are actually\nbecoming quite fashionable around the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Again, you\u2019ll find varying items at all costs. You\u2019ll see many people selling their paintings on the street and there are some cool pictures out there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whatever\nkind of art you\u2019re into you\u2019ll find something to suit your taste. Most sellers\nwill roll it up into a little tube so you can get it home with ease. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pottery and\nother handmade items are also readily available. Once you\u2019ve tried a <strong>pisco sour<\/strong> it\u2019ll likely become your new favorite cocktail. There are a lot of places around town to try one, as well as many other <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salkantaytrekking.com\/blog\/pisco-in-peru-ultimate-guide\/\">pisco<\/a><\/strong> creations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It tastes like nothing else and can make for a great gift for someone waiting for you back home. Or, if you enjoyed it that much why not take this Cusco souvenir home?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around the markets, you\u2019ll find some beautifully presented bottles that are great for presents. Not many of us. And you\u2019ll find some excellent quality products of both. There are <strong>many chocolate shops around Cusco<\/strong> that offer varying presentations and different flavors for you try and buy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is\nalso the chocolate museum where you can try and make chocolates yourself, or\nsavour some of the many delights on offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many chocolates, as well as coffee, comes from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salkantaytrekking.com\/blog\/7-things-do-convencion-cusco-closest-jungle-city\/\">La Convencion<\/a><\/strong>. Surrounding San Pedro market you can find small shops and stalls that sell products from the region. You can taste the coffee and see which one you like best to take home and brew up for friends.
